This apartment at Pine Grove, an old gem nestled in the lush greenery of the surrounding Pandan Valley, initially proved a challenge to design because of its unusual, irregular plan.
There was limited space for the kitchen and dining areas on the lower level, so a glass partition was designed to connect them visually. The result was a pleasant space for meals and gatherings, which still felt bright and spacious due to natural light streaming in through the windows via the kitchen.
On the upper level, the living area was designed to take full advantage of the beautiful surrounding scenery. A small dining table and daybed was placed in a cove by the windows, creating a cosy space for the family to unwind.
